Girls Regionals Runner of the Week

About the candidates:

Sydney Hammack: The Logan senior had a major breakout in the 1600, shattering her previous personal best and placing sixth with a time of 5:04.

Bridget Snider: The Olentangy Liberty junior earned a top-three finish in the 800, running a personal best of 2:15.

Erica Kaulen: It was a huge day for the Hilliard Davidson junior, who earned automatic qualification to states in both the 1600 and 3200 — an achievement matched by only a handful of runners across Ohio.

Marisa Heil: Like Kaulen, the Lancaster senior delivered a standout double at the regional meet, finishing second in both the 1600 and 3200 — only behind Daniela Scheffler, one of the top distance runners in the nation.
