5/9 Runner of the Week Nominees

About the candidates:

Minori Hudson – The Dublin Coffman senior completed an impressive double at the Larkin and Crosten Classic, winning the 1600 in a huge personal best of 5:05 and the 3200 in 11:06.

Olivia Smeck – The Gahanna Lincoln junior ran a 15-second personal best of 11:10 in the 3200, placing fourth in a highly competitive field at the Bradley Invitational.

Grace Buskirk – The Big Walnut sophomore ran a major PR to win the 800 at the Delaware County Invitational in 2:20.61.

Celia Schulte – We typically reserve nominations for elite-level runners until the postseason, but this performance is too hard to ignore. The Hilliard Davidson junior ran a blazing 4:48 full mile, dominating the best mile race in the state and recording one of the fastest times in Ohio history.
