Lucy Rush: In the District 1 1600, the Mount Vernon junior ran a huge personal best of 5:03 to beat out a loaded field and finish second, securing a spot at regionals.
Morgan Hamilton: One of two nominees from the District 3 1600, the Upper Arlington junior posted a significant season best of 5:05 to finish third and qualify for regionals.
Cali Kent: Like Hamilton, the Delaware Hayes junior ran a big personal best of 5:06 in the District 3 1600 to place third and advance to regionals.
Brooke Derringer: The Lancaster freshman impressed in the District 3 3200 final, defeating both Miriam Rule and Grace Heitkamp—who had scratched the 1600 to focus on this race—to earn her spot at regionals.
