About the candidates:
Graham Tyler – The Dublin Jerome junior has been on a tear this season, recording top-16 marks in all major distance events. He broke 4:20 in the 1600 for the first time with a 4:17.20 at the Ashland High Performance Invite, a top-five mark in Division 1.
Brock Jarrett – Finishing just behind Tyler at the Ashland High Performance Invite was Brock Jarrett, a junior from Lancaster. He has also had a strong indoor season, and his 4:17.21 is the sixth-fastest mark in Division 1.
Ty Munroe – Munroe, a senior from Olentangy, broke the 1:57 barrier in the 800 for the first time at the Ashland High Performance Invite, clocking 1:56.69. He has steadily improved throughout the season, and his time currently ranks seventh in Division 1.
Logan Behm – The sophomore from Hilliard Darby had a major breakout race at the Kent State Qualifier, winning the 3200 in 9:26.28. His mark is currently the seventh-fastest time in Division
