  1. Dublin Jerome – Following a stellar OCC championship victory, the boys from Jerome have secured the top position in our rankings as they head into the postseason. With an impressive team average of 15:42 and the fastest runner in every scoring slot in the region, it’s clear why they’ve earned this distinction.

  2. Westerville North – For the first time during this season, the Warriors find themselves in the runner-up spot. However, this is more of a 1A and 1B scenario, as both regional powerhouses are set to put on a show at the upcoming regional championships. Westerville North has demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the year, racking up marquee victories and showcasing strong depth.

  3. Olentangy Orange – Remaining firmly in third place, the Orange boys come off an impressive conference championship. While the top two teams command much of the spotlight, Orange is eager to fly under the radar and seize the regional title.

  4. St. Francis DeSales – At the season's start, we recognized DeSales as having a dynamic duo but questioned their ability to contend for a state berth due to a lack of depth. The Stallions have proved us wrong with an incredible season, featuring a trio of sub-16 runners and a fifth man clocking in at 16:22. They now stand among the elite four teams we expect to qualify for the state championships.

  5. Olentangy Liberty – Welcome to the onset of a heated bubble watch. With only one truly contested spot available this year, we currently give the edge to the Patriots. They’ve emerged as the most consistent team on the bubble, showcasing impressive depth.

  6. Hilliard Darby – Climbing two spots from the previous rankings while remaining in bubble watch territory, Hilliard Darby follows an impressive performance at OCCs, where they defeated multiple ranked teams and achieved a sub-16:30 team average despite lacking a sub-16 runner. Their momentum heading into districts is strong, and while they may not boast a standout runner, their pack strength often leads to solid regional finishes.

  7. Dublin Scioto – After a shaky performance at OCCs, the Irish have dropped from our favorites for team qualification to a bubble contender. Their back two scorers failed to break the 17-minute mark—a trend they must reverse to stay competitive. However, with two standout front runners and the fifth-fastest team average on paper, they’re not to be underestimated.

  8. Gahanna Lincoln – Despite coming off a conference championship victory, their performance left more questions than answers. They feature one of the best fifth and seventh men in the region on paper, but their recent showing didn’t reflect that potential. One off day won’t define their season; if their deep pack can find their rhythm at regionals, they could surprise teams and secure a state meet berth.

  9. Dublin Coffman – After a dominant few years, Coffman has cooled off this season yet still finds itself in our top 10 following several strong performances. With Jacob Bolton as a low stick and a solid 2-4, their main concern revolves around the fifth man. While we don't expect the Coffman boys to return to the state meet this year, a standout performance from their fifth runner at regionals could lead to a strong showing.

  10. Thomas Worthington – Rounding out this week’s postseason rankings is Thomas Worthington. With star runner Mulu Ferguson returning to form, the Cardinals are a formidable contender. Sporting a team average of 16:16 and a strong fifth man, they remain a team to watch.
