Here's how we think all the remaining central ohio teams stack up. Check out the poll at the bottom too.

  1. Hilliard Davidson - While the absence of half of their dynamic duo, Erica Kaulen, at Districts raised some questions, Hilliard Davidson can take comfort in Sophia Tartaglia's breakout performance. With Lancaster closing in, the Lady Wildcats are hopeful for Kaulen's return at Regionals.

  2. Lancaster - Lancaster had an outstanding weekend at Districts, positioning themselves right behind top-ranked Hilliard Davidson. With all five of their top runners breaking 19 minutes, they are poised to be a formidable force at both Regionals and States.

  3. Dublin Jerome - Jerome clinched Section 2 with a nail-biting victory over Olentangy Liberty. The strong performances of their star duo, Natalie Fouts and Helen Randolph, should propel them far this postseason.

  4. Olentangy Liberty - Liberty finished as runner-up in Section 2, just two points shy of Jerome. With Elena Aldrink nearly unbeatable, they will be aiming to challenge Jerome for the title of third-best team in the region.

  5. Gahanna Lincoln - The Lady Lions had a challenging week at Districts but still managed to secure district runner-up honors. Despite the ups and downs, they remain well-positioned to capture one of the last two state qualifying spots.

  6. Bishop Watterson - With the return of standout freshman Kaitlyn Van Zandt, Bishop Watterson is now projected to clinch the final state qualifying spot. Their strong pack, now bolstered by a top runner, should facilitate their advance to States.

  7. Olentangy Orange - After their defeat to Watterson at Districts, the Orange girls find themselves on the outside looking in for state qualification. While Brooke Chapman and Bella Conforti rank among the region’s best, they need greater support from their remaining top five to enhance their chances of advancement.

  8. Marysville - Marysville finished just behind Gahanna in Section 1 and continues to show improvement. If they maintain their upward trajectory, they could have a viable shot at qualifying for States.

  9. Teays Valley - Beyond their exceptional top runner, Katy Zang, Teays Valley has been rapidly improving. They finished only five points behind Marysville, and with a stronger performance from their fifth runner, they could join the group of teams vying for state qualification.

  10. Dublin Coffman - Coffman had a strong showing at Districts, finishing just behind Orange in Section 3, which propelled them into our top ten. Although they may be on the fringes of the state qualification bubble, they are still a talented squad of runners.
